These drawings start their life ten years ago, as images I’ve made previously get used in scripts for data manipulation. Over time, the images have been processed to lose data - pixel sorting removes position data but preserves color; a script cuts and mirrors the image; the last operation converts the image to lines of varying lengths, rotating them in space to approximate a scattering effect. The drawings are part of a lineage of exploration.
